End-to-End Provisioning of Latency and Availability Constrained 5G Services

We address a key challenge of 5G networks by proposing strategy for the resource-efficient and end-to-end allocation compute connectivity resources in dynamic service provisioning scenario, such that latency availability requirements are guaranteed. Our heuristic algorithm shows resource efficiency is significantly improved processing services large core data centers (DCs) with rich amount exploiting benefits traffic grooming over metro fiber links. Moreover, our avoids possible violation caused reaching central DC locations adding backup resources. simulation results demonstrate improvement reflected lowering blocking probability up to four orders magnitude compared conventional methods utilizing distributed small DCs.
